Preview flag interactions

Using the Flag preview app, you can view the value for a flag, based on the settings for selected classes.```

Preview flag settings for a Quote​

To preview the Flag settings applied to a specific Quote:

  1. Open Console.
  2. Go to the Flag preview app.
  3. Enter the Quote ID from the Quote record.

The relevant classes for the Quote and the final value for each flag will be visible.

Preview flag settings for a Class​

To preview flag settings applied for a specific combination of classes:

  1. Open Console.
  2. Go to the Flag preview app
  3. Select a value for the relevant classes. A Quote must always have:
    • A Customer, Site, Project, and Contractor class, and
    • At least one related Asset class (i.e. Solar, Battery, Inverter, EV Charger)

The final flag value for the selected classes will be visible.

Flag overrides

The flag settings for a class can be overridden on the specific instance of the entity. For example, you can change the flag setting on a specific Customer, and these will take precedence over the Customer class settings. The Flag Preview app will display the override settings applied.
