Manage email templates
You can use the Email templates app to create transactional emails that are sent to Customers at specific points in their journey.
Email attachments
When creating an email template, you can add attachments. These can be:
- Personalised attachments, which are generated by the UPowr Platform and specific to each recipient.
- Generic attachments, which are standard files that all recipients will receive.
Create an email template
In addition to creating the email template, you also need to configure the transactional email to use it. We've included instructions to do this below.
To create an email template:
- Click Add template.
- Go to Edit template and create the email.
- If you need more email styling options, you can use a different tool to create your email and then import the raw HTML.
- Add attachments to the email.
- Click Create.
Send a test email
To see how an email will appear to a customer, you can send a tesst. To do this, click on the ☰ menu and click Send test.
Configure a transactional email
To configure a transactional email to use an email template:
- Go to the Pricing management app.
- Click the Inputs tab.
- Find the transactional email.
- There should be two entries for the email and one will have the suffix, 'provider'.
- For the entry without 'provider', go to the Text value column and enter the Email template ID.
- You can get this ID from the Email template app.
- For the entry with 'provider', enter 'upowr'.
