Manage retail offers

You can use the Retail offer manager to:

  • View and search for retail offers
  • Create new retail offers
  • Edit or delete retail offers

Create a retail offer​

To create a retail offer:

  1. Open the Retail offer manager in Console.
  2. Click Add retail offer.
  3. Add in the offer details.
  4. Click Create.
Tips for creating a retail offer
  • Check the Effective from date range covers a full year.
  • When adding time of use or flexible usage charges ensure your peak, off-peak, and shoulder charges cover all hours of the day, days of the week, and months of the year.
  • There is no validation on the values submitted for the rates, so check these carefully.

Edit a retail offer​

To edit a retail offer

  1. Open the Retail offer manager in Console.
  2. Find the Retail offer in the list.
  3. Hover over it and click ✐ (edit).
  4. Make your changes.
  5. Click Save.

Soft delete a retail offer​

To soft delete a retail offer

  1. Open the Retail offer manager in Console.
  2. Find the Retail offer in the list.
  3. Hover over it and click Delete.
  4. Click OK.
Retail offers are soft deleted

Deleting a Retail offer removes it from the Retail offer manager and restricts it from being used when generating a Quote. The offer, however, is still maintained in the database and referred to by previously created Quotes.
