Customers overview

A Customer is a person who wants to buy your hardware and services. On the platform, information about a Customer is consolidated in their Customer record.

Customer details​

On a Customer's record, you can see information about them along the top of the page. Here you'll see:

  • their contact details and Customer class.
  • their assigned Prime contractor.
  • the Accepted T&C's date, which is the date the Customer accepted the Platform terms and conditions.

If you're a Principal admin, can also:

  • View and update their Class Flags
  • Update their Default Prime Contractor, as long as there are no running workflows.

Customer reference number​

When a Customer is created in the Platform, they're given a unique Customer reference number in the form of AA-XXX where

  • AA is their partner code
  • XXX is an alphanumberic sequence

As they progress along their Customer journey, this reference is extended. For example:

  • Projects created for will have the reference is AA-XXXY
  • Quotes and Jobs created for them will have the reference AA-XXXY-ZZ.
