Reassign a Job

Before a Job is Submitted, you can reassign it to a new Installer.

If the Job's status is:

  • Assigned, the existing Job will be automatically rejected, and the rejection reason will be set to Installer reassignment.
  • Accepted, Scheduled, Rescheduled or Prepared, the existing Job will be automatically cancelled, and and the rejection reason will be set to Installer reassignment.

In addition, a new Job containing the files from the previous Job will be triggered. The Operator can then assign the Job to a different Installer.

Reassign a Job

To reassign a Job:

  1. Open the Job record.
  2. Select Action.
  3. Select Reassign Job, selecting Ok to confirm.

Once you confirm the change, the Assign [job type] to Installer and App task will be available for an Operator to select a new Installer.

If the existing Job requires cancelling, all related Workflows will be terminated and the status of the Job will be updated to Cancelled. The Review job cancellation task will also be triggered for an Operator to confirm any additional required actions.

Note: you cannot reassign a Job when its status is Created, Submitted, Reviewed, or Completed.
