Platform version 2.22
New
- We added a new rebate type to allow you to offer your Customers Solar Victoria's Solar panel (PV) rebate (part of their new Electrification Grants program). To learn how to set it up, see Government support.
New
As mentioned in the v2.19 release notes, we’re switching from one Project type to two to simplify project management and make the Platform more flexible. In this release, we’re officially launching these new Project types — Sales and Service.
Sales projects
You can use Sales projects to organise any Quotes, Site inspection jobs, and Installation jobs that are needed when selling solar, batteries, EV chargers, and other electrification assets. They’re similar to our previous Project type.
Service projects
You can use Service projects to provide post-installation services to Customers. In the Platform, they replace Rectification jobs. They enable you to loop through manufacturer investigations, internal reviews, and multiple Site visits to complete a Service request. Service projects include two new default Job types that are available both on-app and off-app.
In addition, in Service projects you can assign a Job to a Prime that’s different to a Customer’s default Prime. For example, you can assign it to a third-party auditor. This is done via the Create Service request task
Custom Job types
Along with our changes to Projects, you can now configure custom Job types to match your own business processes. These Job types can include custom doc templates, Installer app forms, and Task review forms. For more on setting them up, speak to the Customer Success Team.
This release includes updates for integrated CRMs:

New
To simplify how you manage Projects and enable us to extend the Platform to manage more Job types, we're switching from using a single Project type to two — Sales projects and Service projects. These are just what they sound like:
In line with this change, we updated the names of the existing Projects in your environment:
Importantly, apart from their name changes, these projects function exactly the same way.
In an upcoming version, we'll be releasing changes to Job types. When we do, we'll retire Service (Legacy) projects and start using Service projects. More on this soon.
Improved
In the Finance requests app, to help you find what you need faster, we added a search box as well as date requested and last updated fields. For more, see Manage finance requests.
For this release, we focused on stability and performance updates, as well as essential backend prep for an upcoming major enhancement.

| Task/s | Change |
|---|---|
| Receive order confirmation from supplier | Removed as it wasn't used |
| Calculate voltage rise | Removed and its functionality added to Review installation artefacts task |
| Complete monitoring | Trigger is now once the Job is submitted. This task must be completed for the Installation Job status to become Commissioned. We also added the Assets on the Site to the Task, to help Operators identify the relevant Assets in the monitoring portal. |
| Complete meter upgrade | Replaced with the Start meter upgrade Task. This Task is triggered for Sites not in Victoria when the job status is Submitted, and Sites in Victoria when the Upload regulatory documents task is completed. |
| Upload STC assignment form, Upload regulatory documents, and Update asset serial numbers | These three tasks are now triggered simultaneously when the job status is updated to Reviewed. |
| Update asset serial numbers | Now includes all Assets on the Site so operators can check inputs provided by the Installer via the App. |
| Assign Installation to Installer and App | Now includes Jobs related to a Project so the Operator knows which Installer company completed any previous Jobs |
| Select Tasks across the Workflow | We added the Job files component so the Operator can verify information using artefacts such as the Site inspection report. |
