• We created two new events - Project.StateChanged and Project.StageChanged. When you open the Project timeline from the Project record, you can now view when the State or Stage has changed.
• We added a new Flag to allow Operators to indicate when a Customer discloses family domestic violence at the household. The field will be shown on the Customer record.
• We added a new Project request record. When a Customer requests a Quote, their data is now shown here. You can access it through the Project record.

Improved

• We updated our API, so you can now:
  • Supply a customerID and siteID to the Create a new project API to create new Projects and Sites for existing Customers.
  • Filter Jobs by whether they're a Parent or Child job through the Jobs dashboard or using the Jobs API.
• We updated our Records, so you can now:
  • Cancel a Rectification Job from the Job record. This is only available on the parent Rectification Job. Any related child Rectification Jobs will also be cancelled.
  • Close a Project from the Project record.
• We updated the Installer app. When accepting an Installation Job, Installers cannot schedule it less than five business days from the current date. This is to allow for stock to arrive at the premises. This restriction doesn't apply to rescheduling the Job.
• We updated the Installation job info sheet for Victorian sites. It now includes the Customer's mobile number, as required for compliance documentation.

Fixed

• A few Workflows were getting stuck as Workflow errors weren't being reported correctly. Both of these issues have been resolved.
• Offline quotes can now be generated with or without a design markup image.
• In the Quote request form, there was an issue preventing customers from uploading JPEG bills. This has been fixed.
• The Installation job sheet wasn't displaying the correct inverter size. This has been fixed.
• On Customer and Site records, Projects are now ordered correctly. Active projects are displayed first, followed by older Closed projects sorted by creation date.
• Multiple items can now be added to the BOM by their subcategory.
• In the Design system task, the Reject project button is now fixed.
• When the Quote was updated on the installation Job, the BOM Sheet artefact was not updated to reflect the new Quote. This has been fixed.
• The customer name and state task list preview were not showing for Rectification prime jobs. This has been fixed.

New

• We introduced a new record type to the Platform - Projects. A Project describes the end-to-end journey required to deliver a Customer's product and contains:
  • All Quotes and Jobs relating to the Project (these will no longer be available on the Customer record).
  • Open workflow tasks and processes.
  • Charges to the Customer.
• We added a new Document type to the Templates manager. You can now automatically generate a PDF version of the Customer Quote based on a template. This PDF is available to Operators from the Quote record, and can be made available to Customers too.
• We extended the BOM automator's functionality with new:
  • Rules - You can now specify a subcategory to add to the BOM. The exact SKU is determined using a lookup configured in the Pricing Manager.
  • Keywords - You now have keywords for roof type and asset types within Quotes. If there is more than one roof type, the roof type for the majority of surfaces is applied.
• We introduced new class flags that enable you to:
  • Skip the requirement to upload switchboard photos on the CX platform Quote.
  • Set a default Site class.

Improved

• We did a general enhancement of all Console records with the following key improvements:
  • Customer records now display associated Sites and Projects, and Quotes and Jobs are moved to the Project record.
  • Quote records now contain additional energy and financial forecasting information, including charts.
  • EV charger information is now displayed on relevant records, including the Assets summary on the Site record.
  • Breadcrumb navigation has been added across records to show related records.
• In the BOM automator's, rules that use fixed rule keywords will now consider any line items added to the BOM by other rules.

Fixed

• SLD generation now uses asset display names and is generated in landscape orientation to avoid overflow issues.
• The details tab in Pricing Manager has been restored.
• The number of storeys entered in the System Design task is now stored and available as a keyword in the BOM Automator.

• To increase the accuracy of Quote savings forecasts and enable you to present a more compelling proposition for your customers, we added a new Retail offer manager to the Platform. Retail offers represent the rates that Homeowners or Businesses pay for their electricity supply and associated services. They're a fundamental input in savings forecasts. Using the new Retail manager app, you can create Retail offers that Operators can select from when putting together a Customer’s quote. For more, read Retail offer overview.

• The BOM Automator formula helper was removed. We've added it back in.

New

• We extended the BOM Automator’s functionality with two new features:
  • Bundles — These allow Operators to set a single price for a group of SKUs. In the Pricing manager, Operators can now create a Bundle using the new Bundle subcategory, and in the BOM Automator, they can specify the SKUs within the Bundle. Then, when the Bundle is identified in the system design, the Bundle SKUs and pricing will be automatically applied. Learn more about creating and managing Bundles
  • Rule versioning — To ensure that updates to existing rules can be safely reviewed and tested, Operators can now propose changes before they’re published. Learn more about managing automated rules
• We added two new features to the Design system task's instant forecast modelling module:
  • We added the option of exporting the energy and financial forecast data as a CSV.
  • We updated it to work with incomplete meter tariff data. I.e. it can now produce a forecast even when there is less than 365 days of data.

Improved

• We expanded the list of rejection reasons that Operators can choose from when rejecting projects for EV chargers only.
• In the Design system task, we updated the Bill of Materials table to clearly show which items include or exclude GST. When adding items to the BOM, you can now also search for specific SKU rather than a subcategory.
• We refreshed our login page to align it with our overall Platform style.

Fixed

• Rejecting a Project from the Design system task now voids all Quotes on that Project.
• Quotes that were initiated but not published were appearing in the Customer CX. They're now hidden.
• When set via API, the Customer's preferred days for Site inspections and Installations weren't syncing to the Installer app. They're now syncing properly.
• Semi-structured addresses were being ignored in processing via the s3 lead transfer mechanism. This is fixed.
• The final site inspection outcome wasn't being updated in the CRM after a requote. This is fixed.

New

• We added HEMS, optimisers, and hot water heat pumps as Asset types in the Platform, and they can now be added to the Asset catalog and Asset register. We also added HEMs and heat pumps as SKU sub-categories.
• We released a new GraphQL Query Explorer to enable you to perform custom, targeted data retrieval in real-time, and also download your data as a CSV. To learn how to use it, take a look at the README for GraphiQL. This tool is designed to help you structure GraphQL queries correctly, and it’s included in the Explorer. To access the Explorer, click on the app switcher in the Navigation bar.

Improved

• We updated the Assign site inspection to Installer and app and Assign installation Job to Installer and app tasks. Now if an Installer company has no app users, the Job can’t be assigned to the Installer app.

• We fine-tuned the System design task to remove performance issues that were impacting designs for small commercial systems.

• We added a new cash flow forecast feature. On the Design System task, Operators can:
  • Adjust the cash flow forecast by enabling or disabling inputs, or overriding default input values.
  • View the forecast in a chart showing the net cash flow per year and cumulative cash flow over time. In the Quote CX, commercial customers can view the cash flow chart, outputs, and inputs to quickly grasp the financial benefits of installing the system.
  • On the Design System task, Operators can:
    • Adjust the cash flow forecast by enabling or disabling inputs, or overriding default input values.
    • View the forecast in a chart showing the net cash flow in a year and cumulative cash flow over time.
  • In the Quote CX, commercial customers can view the cash flow chart, outputs and inputs in a new Cash flow section.
• We added a Flag Preview app that lets you view the flags applied to a specific Quote or Class.

• We extended the BOM Automator's functionality by:
  • adding In and notIn operators for Condition-based rules.
  • adding totalHardwareCostCents and totalInstallationCostCents formula keywords for fixed rules.
  • adding SKU properties, such as rail_length formula keywords.
  • checking a formula is valid when saving rules.
  • adding the option to view the source of a SKU and source data from the system design when using the Rule tester.

• An extra Project was being created when adding a Site in Console. We've fixed this.

• We added a Quote.Published event to the API. It's emitted after the Prepare quotes task when the Quote status becomes CREATED.

• We updated the Quote.Created event in the API. It's now emitted when creating, editing, or duplicating a Quote.

• Operators can now reassign an in-flight Job to a different installer. The existing Job will automatically be cancelled, with the cancellation reason being Installer reassignement.

• To extend the utility of the Project entity, Project now:

  • can be accessed via API endpoint secured with a session cookie.
  • has a simple reference ID, consisting of the customer reference number and an alphanumeric character at the end.

• We added a new Review Quote Outcome supplementary task to the Publish quotes: Before publish workflow hook. It can be:

  • deployed to your environment on request.
  • triggered when the Operator selects the Requires external approval outcome in the Final Quote Review task and the Quote status is set to Awaiting external approval.
  • completed by approving or rejecting the Quote.

• We added a range of features to the BOM Automator:

  • Conditional rules - SKUs can now be added to a BOM based on specific site and design conditions.
  • Universal rules - SKUs, typically service SKUs, can be added to a BOM based on rules that universally apply.
  • Calculated quantities - a SKU can now be calculated using a formula made up of defined inputs, operations or functions.
  • Project class rules - rules can now be set for a Project class, and combined with rules set for a Prime contractor class.

• We added a new Templates Manager app that enables Tech Support to:

  • manage versions of Installer app forms and document templates per environment
  • create or update forms/templates and assign them to a Project or Site Class.
  • customise branding and content in documents such as System Manuals, Job Info sheets, and Leave Behind Packs.

Improved

• As we prepare to deprecate Order as an entity, we:
  • moved the System Manual and Permission to Connect (PTC) documents to be stored on the Project rather than Order.
  • moved all other files previously stored on Order to the Job.
  • changed the Supplier BOM to refer to the Job rather than Order.

Fixed

• We fixed an issue where duplicating a Quote on a closed Project would not create a new Project, preventing the Quote from being published.

New

• The Publish quotes workflow now includes a Quote awaiting external approval pathway and API endpoint. Principal operators can set the outcome of the Final quote review task to Requires external approval, which changes the Quote status and triggers an external review process. This can be deployed to your environment on request.
