New

  • To help customers navigate between quotes and compare key details between them, we introduced a new Your quotes page to the CX platform. This page:
    • Contains a summary card for each quote.
    • Groups quotes by site and orders them by created date.
    • Allows customers to quickly see each quote's status, expiry date, major hardware, price, and reference number, and open it to see more information.

  • We updated the Installer app to use the latest version of node.js.

Fixed

  • We fixed a bug affecting assets linked to the Global asset catalog where their rated power wasn’t showing up on the Site record after they were added to the Asset Register.

New

  • We updated our Quote CX to meet the New Energy Tech Consumer Code (NETCC) requirements.
    • When a Designer annotates a site design in Atlas, the Customer will now see the annotated site image on their quote. This change enables the customer to see the proposed location of key hardware, such as the inverter, battery, and bollards, as well as safety exclusion zones and disconnection points.
    • The system list now includes the country of manufacture and year of certification for major hardware, such as solar panels, inverters, and batteries.
  • We introduced a new status for Installation jobs: ACCEPTED. When an Installer accepts their Job via the app, the Job status will update from ASSIGNED to ACCEPTED. Installers will need to indicate the Homeowner has confirmed the date via the app for the Job status to update to SCHEDULED (similar to Site inspections).

Improved

  • We updated the BOM Automator, so you can use Miscellaneous SKUs in automation rules. Importantly, you can only use Miscellaneous SKUs where the Operator cannot edit the description and price.
  • We upgraded the Tasks in the Site Inspection, Installation, and Rectification workflows to improve their performance and functionality. As part of these changes:
    • A Review history is now available on Tasks to view the previous Operators who've worked on a Job and the outcomes that they selected.
    • The Review Quote acceptance task is now called Confirm Installation.
    • The Send Order request to Supplier task now allows Operators to add Order and delivery details. Along with the Bill of Materials, this is stored as a CSV on the Job record.
    • Operators can now bulk enter serial numbers as comma or line-separated lists into the Update Asset serial numbers task.
    • A new outcome is available on the Review Site inspection artefacts task for when the Site has failed inspection.
  • The Overdue tasks filter in Tasklist is now for tasks created over 8 days ago. Previously it was 2 days.

Fixed

  • The discount feature for Quotes will now show the correct label and value.
  • The BOM Automator will no longer duplicate hybrid inverters added to solar and battery quotes.

New

  • We added a Single Line Diagram (SLD) app to the Platform. This app is integrated into the installation workflow where it:
    • dynamically generates an SLD for solar systems with up to 8 strings and for DC-coupled solar and battery systems.
    • presents the SLD in the Override SLD task, where if required, it can be downloaded as a PDF and then uploaded and edited in the drawing tool, draw.io.
  • We added two user tasks to the Installation workflow:
    • In Assign installation job to installer and app, the operator can select the Installer company to complete the Installation and specify whether it will be conducted through the app.
    • In Set installation date, a task for off-app jobs only, the Operator can select the Job date to schedule the Job.

Improved

  • We moved the Miscellaneous hardware SKU sub-category from the Installation SKU category to the Hardware category. This ensures that miscellaneous hardware SKUs are included in the Order Bill of Materials.
  • We updated the branding for two Installation job artefacts - the Job info sheet and the Bill of materials.
  • We updated the Installation workflow so that once the Job status is Scheduled:
    • Procurement tasks are shown
    • STC tasks are shown four days before the job date.
  • We removed the Job pack file as it was redundant. All Job files are available on the Job record and automatically synced to the Installer app for on-app Jobs.

Fixed

  • To fix a problem where percentage margins were not calculated correctly, we updated the Service fee calculation to account for miscellaneous SKU items and all variations.
  • We fixed an issue where GST was not added to miscellaneous SKU items while a Quote was being created.
  • We fixed an issue where Job record files and in-app statuses were not in sync.
  • We fixed an issue where a NSW customer looking to start an order for a battery-only system could not progress to the payment page.

New

  • To keep customers up-to-date with changes to their orders, rescheduling an Installation job now triggers a new email.

Improved

  • Previously, when customers returned to the Platform, they were shown the last quote viewed on that device. To minimise confusion, they’re now shown the last quote they viewed on any device, and if a new quote has been published, they’re shown that instead.

Platform version 1.217

Fixed

  • We updated the checkout logic so that customers who navigate directly to the checkout, or click the UPowr logo while in the checkout, are shown the last quote they accepted. This wasn’t previously the case, which led to some customers being shown the wrong quote at this step.
  • We fixed a bug with the Review leave behind pack task where annotations weren’t loading correctly in Atlas. While we were here, we also made improvements to the styling and PDF viewer.

Platform version 1.216

New

  • You can now use tariff data for savings calculations when quoting a transferred lead.
  • The Leave Behind pack is now automatically generated. You can review it in the Review leave behind pack task, and if needed, you can edit Site layout annotations, or replace the file.

Improved

  • To improve ATLAS usability, we've made it so:
    • You can't skip steps, preventing calculation errors.
    • When you're creating outlines, your cursor will automatically snap to existing nodes when near them.
    • When you're adjusting surfaces, you can identify roof types by their colour.
    • When you're creating strings, you'll only see a DC/AC ratio warning when it is over 1.33.

Fixed

  • We fixed several issues in ATLAS relating to 'Cannot read properties of null'.
  • We updated the workflow so the Follow-up installer: Accept Site inspection job task does not appear if the Installer accepts/rejects the job within three days of being assigned to it.
  • We fixed the problem where the Job status in the Installer app was not in sync with the Platform.
  • We fixed the problem where solar only System Manuals were generated as landscape.

Platform version 1.215

New

  • We made some big improvements to the quote by introducing an improved layout and design and also implementing it on a CMS. This move to a CMS makes customisation easier and gives you more control. For example, it enables you to:
    • easily modify the content of your Quote to align with your brand, messaging, and requirements.
    • configure the Quote by customer class and environment to deliver personalised quote experiences.
  • You can now edit a Site's export limit from its record.
  • You can now access the UPowr Installer app from an Android mobile device.

Improved

  • In the Installation workflow, the Receive permission to connect task is not a blocker anymore. For Residential sites, it now needs to be done before the job status can be updated to 'PREPARED', and for Commercial sites, it needs to be done before job status can be updated to 'REVIEWED'.

Fixed

  • A bug that was causing some cancelled jobs to get stuck.

Platform version 1.214

New

  • For payments, you can now set a required deposit amount that is a percentage of the total cost or a fixed value.
  • The annotated site layout image now gets sent to the Installer app if it exists for Site inspection and Installation jobs.
  • Commercial Site inspection jobs now have a standardised commercial site inspection checklist task in the UPowr Installer app.

Improved

  • For Site inspection jobs, the default is now that they’ll be completed using the UPowr Installer app.
  • The Order created email is now sent for every solar order workflow triggered. Previously the email was only triggered when a Customer paid a deposit.
