Platform version 1.207

· 2 min read

New

  • BYOB (Bring Your Own Battery) workflow that streamlines the process of onboarding a third-party installed hardware asset into the UPowr platform, your CRM, and a Virtual Power Plant (VPP) management platform. The workflow includes:
    • The existing Onboard customer site task;
    • A new Confirm BYOB asset details task: enables a Principal Sales Operator to confirm the asset details are correct, update them if required, and pass or fail the asset. The failed reasons can be passed through to your CRM to configure communications with the customer. If the task is passed, this can trigger a payload file being sent to your billing system;
    • The Onboard VPP Asset workflow (see v1.206 release notes).
  • Operator task to follow up with an installer when they have not accepted a job using the installer app after 3 days.
  • Ability for a Principal to override the capacity of the solar panels, inverter, or battery if the capacity provided by the customer or sourced from Asset Catalogue is not applicable to or correct for the site.
  • Skip Auto System Design customer class flag to disable the System Design workflow for automatically triggering for a customer class.

Improved

  • Operator tasks to follow up an installer for overdue forms now show the job record and are triggered after 3 days.
  • Added validation to Confirm BYOB asset details task to restrict an Operator from completing the task if there is no asset information on the site record.

Fixed

  • Removed service and installation fee configuration from BOM Automator.
  • Cleaned up price setting bugs in Pricing Management app.
  • Cleaned up solar and battery capacity values in Onboard VPP Asset workflow tasks.
