Create Quote change request

This Task is:

  • triggered when the Update Quote Job workflow is started.
  • done by Prime Operations.

In it, you’ll address the Quote change request for the Installation Job.

Outcomes​

Note: There may be a few minutes delay before the next task appears.

The Quote status of revised Quote is AWAITING EXTERNAL APPROVAL

When the outcome Revise existing Quote is selected, the existing Quote will be duplicated. The operator can then make changes to this new Quote. Once the Design System task is completed, the status of this new Quote will be AWAITING EXTERNAL APPROVAL.

Steps​

To complete this Task:

  1. Review Quote and Job details. Enter a Request reason.

  2. Select a Request outcome:

    • Revise existing Quote - Changes to the Quote are required for the successful installation of the system.
    • Unable to do installation - The installation cannot be completed, even with changes to the Quote. The Customer must be informed that the Job will be cancelled.
    • Cancel request - The workflow will be terminated.

  3. Select Complete.
