Confirm asset onboarding details

This task is:

  • a Supplementary Task.
  • for On-app and Off-app Jobs.
  • completed by a Principal VPP

How it is triggered depends on the asset:

  • For assets installed on the platform, it is triggered when the Final installation review task is completed and the outcome is Approve installation.
  • For VPP programs consisting of assets that are already installed outside of the platform, it is triggered when the metering workflow is complete.

In it, you'll view the Customer, Site, and Asset Records to check the asset details are correct and update them if required.

Next Task​

If there is an error with onboarding an asset to the VPP platform the next Task is Follow-up: Troubleshoot asset.

If there is no error, the next task that will appear after 2 weeks is Confirm asset controllable.

Steps​

To complete this task:

  1. View the asset details in the Assets table.
  2. Click Update.
  3. Update the asset details in Update asset.
  4. Update the VPP status:
    • For assets that cannot be controlled, like panels or a battery, set the status to 'not controllable'.
    • For assets that can be controlled, like inverters or gateways, set the status to 'not started'.
  5. If required, override the assigned or calcualted capacities for solar panels, inverter, and battery.
    • Find the Actions button in the top right and click the dropdown menu.
    • Select Override System Capacities.
    • Enter in the new capacities
    • Click Save.
    • There is also an option to reset the original calculated or assigned capacities.
  6. Click Save Asset.
  7. Click Complete.
