Follow-up: Troubleshoot asset
This task is:
- a Supplementary task.
- triggered when there is an error with onboarding an asset to a VPP platform.
- for on-app and off-app Jobs.
- done by Principal VPP.
In it, you'll view the error message received from the VPP platform and you can choose to resubmit the asset to the VPP platform

If there is an error with onboarding an asset to the VPP platform the next Task is Follow-up: Troubleshoot asset.
If there is no error, the next task that will appear after 2 weeks is Confirm asset controllable.
Steps
To complete this task:
- View the Asset VPP Onboarding Error message. These messages are received from the VPP platform.
- Troubleshoot the error. If you need to update the asset details to resolve the error, click Update. For example you may need to add in the controllable asset's serial number.
- Update asset details in Update asset.
- Click Save Asset.
- In the Resubmit asset? dropdown list, select whether you want to resubmit the asset or not.
- Select 'Yes' to resubmit the asset to the VPP platform.
- Select 'No' to not resubmit the asset to the VPP platform. This will trigger the next task, Confirm asset controllable.
- Click Complete.
