Notifications overview

To help you stay up-to-date, the Installer app includes timely push and in-app notifications.

Push notifications

If you're an Admin or Job lead, you'll receive push notifications for:

  • New Customer messages.
  • Overdue jobs:
    • Assigned Job has not been accepted.
      • Tasks have not been submitted.

In-app notifications

There are two types of in-app notifications:

  1. Job chat notifications (💬)
  2. General notifications (🔔)

You can access both of these from the top menu bar.

Job chat notifications

Tapping on Job chats will open a list of all recent Customer messages, starting with the newest message first.

Tapping on the message will take you directly to the Customer chat so you can reply.

General notifications

The notifications that you receive will depend on your App role and Job-specific role.

Admins will receive notifications about their company, for example, when a new user accepts an Invite and accesses the app, or when a Job is assigned to their company.

Team leads and team members will receive notifications about the Jobs they're assigned to. For example, reminders to schedule an accepted Job or to complete Tasks.
