Installation jobs

Job pack​

The Job pack for an Installation includes:

  • Install Job Info Sheet - this contains system details and notes from UPowr.
  • Site Inspection Report.
  • Single Line Diagram.
  • Permission to Connect.
  • Bill of Materials.
  • Leave Behind Pack.
  • Photos: Site layout and switchboard.

Tasks​

Installation jobs consist of four Tasks:

  1. Pre-installation checklist
  2. Roof works installation
  3. System installation
  4. Commissioning sheet

1 - Pre-installation checklist​

Purpose​

Ensure site walk-around and set-up procedures have been completed correctly and safely.

Sign-off​

Must be signed off and submitted by a CEC-accredited Lead installer.

Timing​

Must be submitted before any Installation work begins.

2 - Roof works installation​

Purpose​

Provide evidence that racking, PV modules, and roof cavity works (including labelling) are completed in accordance with regulatory requirements and the UPowr Standard of Works.

Note: not required for battery-only jobs.

Sign-off​

Must be signed off and submitted by a CEC accredited team lead on Installation day.

Timing​

  • Racking installation section must be completed after installing all rails, cabling, and roof penetration point(s) and before installing modules.
  • PV modules section must be completed when all rooftop installation work is done.
  • Roof cavity section must be completed when the conduit installation inside the roof cavity is done (note: skipped if no roof cavity works are required).

3 - System installation​

Purpose​

Collect asset details and ensure the system has been installed and labelled in accordance with regulatory requirements and the UPowr standard of works.

Sign-off​

Must be signed off and submitted by a CEC accredited team lead on Installation day.

Timing​

Completed after inverter or battery unit(s) and associated components have been installed and labelled, and switchboard changes are done.

4 - Commissioning sheet​

Purpose​

  • Compete CEC-required commissioning and testing procedures to ensure the system is installed correctly and operational.
  • Ensure customer handover procedures have been completed.

Sign-off​

Must be signed off and submitted by a CEC accredited installer and Licensed electrician on Installation day.

Timing​

Completed once the system is installed and ready to be commissioned.
