New

  • We updated our Quote CX to meet the New Energy Tech Consumer Code (NETCC) requirements.
    • When a Designer annotates a site design in Atlas, the Customer will now see the annotated site image on their quote. This change enables the customer to see the proposed location of key hardware, such as the inverter, battery, and bollards, as well as safety exclusion zones and disconnection points.
    • The system list now includes the country of manufacture and year of certification for major hardware, such as solar panels, inverters, and batteries.
  • We introduced a new status for Installation jobs: ACCEPTED. When an Installer accepts their Job via the app, the Job status will update from ASSIGNED to ACCEPTED. Installers will need to indicate the Homeowner has confirmed the date via the app for the Job status to update to SCHEDULED (similar to Site inspections).

Improved

  • We updated the BOM Automator, so you can use Miscellaneous SKUs in automation rules. Importantly, you can only use Miscellaneous SKUs where the Operator cannot edit the description and price.
  • We upgraded the Tasks in the Site Inspection, Installation, and Rectification workflows to improve their performance and functionality. As part of these changes:
    • A Review history is now available on Tasks to view the previous Operators who've worked on a Job and the outcomes that they selected.
    • The Review Quote acceptance task is now called Confirm Installation.
    • The Send Order request to Supplier task now allows Operators to add Order and delivery details. Along with the Bill of Materials, this is stored as a CSV on the Job record.
    • Operators can now bulk enter serial numbers as comma or line-separated lists into the Update Asset serial numbers task.
    • A new outcome is available on the Review Site inspection artefacts task for when the Site has failed inspection.
  • The Overdue tasks filter in Tasklist is now for tasks created over 8 days ago. Previously it was 2 days.

Fixed

  • The discount feature for Quotes will now show the correct label and value.
  • The BOM Automator will no longer duplicate hybrid inverters added to solar and battery quotes.

New

  • We added a Single Line Diagram (SLD) app to the Platform. This app is integrated into the installation workflow where it:
    • dynamically generates an SLD for solar systems with up to 8 strings and for DC-coupled solar and battery systems.
    • presents the SLD in the Override SLD task, where if required, it can be downloaded as a PDF and then uploaded and edited in the drawing tool, draw.io.
  • We added two user tasks to the Installation workflow:
    • In Assign installation job to installer and app, the operator can select the Installer company to complete the Installation and specify whether it will be conducted through the app.
    • In Set installation date, a task for off-app jobs only, the Operator can select the Job date to schedule the Job.

Improved

  • We moved the Miscellaneous hardware SKU sub-category from the Installation SKU category to the Hardware category. This ensures that miscellaneous hardware SKUs are included in the Order Bill of Materials.
  • We updated the branding for two Installation job artefacts - the Job info sheet and the Bill of materials.
  • We updated the Installation workflow so that once the Job status is Scheduled:
    • Procurement tasks are shown
    • STC tasks are shown four days before the job date.
  • We removed the Job pack file as it was redundant. All Job files are available on the Job record and automatically synced to the Installer app for on-app Jobs.
