• We added a Quote.Published event to the API. It's emitted after the Prepare quotes task when the Quote status becomes CREATED.

• We updated the Quote.Created event in the API. It's now emitted when creating, editing, or duplicating a Quote.

• Operators can now reassign an in-flight Job to a different installer. The existing Job will automatically be cancelled, with the cancellation reason being Installer reassignement.

• To extend the utility of the Project entity, Project now:

  • can be accessed via API endpoint secured with a session cookie.
  • has a simple reference ID, consisting of the customer reference number and an alphanumeric character at the end.

• We added a new Review Quote Outcome supplementary task to the Publish quotes: Before publish workflow hook. It can be:

  • deployed to your environment on request.
  • triggered when the Operator selects the Requires external approval outcome in the Final Quote Review task and the Quote status is set to Awaiting external approval.
  • completed by approving or rejecting the Quote.

• We added a range of features to the BOM Automator:

  • Conditional rules - SKUs can now be added to a BOM based on specific site and design conditions.
  • Universal rules - SKUs, typically service SKUs, can be added to a BOM based on rules that universally apply.
  • Calculated quantities - a SKU can now be calculated using a formula made up of defined inputs, operations or functions.
  • Project class rules - rules can now be set for a Project class, and combined with rules set for a Prime contractor class.

• We added a new Templates Manager app that enables Tech Support to:

  • manage versions of Installer app forms and document templates per environment
  • create or update forms/templates and assign them to a Project or Site Class.
  • customise branding and content in documents such as System Manuals, Job Info sheets, and Leave Behind Packs.

Improved

• As we prepare to deprecate Order as an entity, we:
  • moved the System Manual and Permission to Connect (PTC) documents to be stored on the Project rather than Order.
  • moved all other files previously stored on Order to the Job.
  • changed the Supplier BOM to refer to the Job rather than Order.

Fixed

• We fixed an issue where duplicating a Quote on a closed Project would not create a new Project, preventing the Quote from being published.

New

• The Publish quotes workflow now includes a Quote awaiting external approval pathway and API endpoint. Principal operators can set the outcome of the Final quote review task to Requires external approval, which changes the Quote status and triggers an external review process. This can be deployed to your environment on request.

• The Quote.Created event is fixed and firing as expected.

• We added a new EV charger module with everything you need to take a Customer from quote to inspection to installation. You can now:

  • Manage EV chargers through the Asset catalogue and Asset register
  • Add EV chargers to a marked-up Site design in Atlas.
  • Provide Installers with EV charger Installation and Commissioning forms through the Installer app.

• We added a range of new Operator features, all focused on efficiency.

  • Edit and duplicate Quotes - Operators can now edit an existing Quote to change its System design and Bill of materials, or duplicate it create a new Quote based on it.
  • Manage on-site variations - with help from the new Edit and duplicate Quotes feature, Operators can update a Quote with an active Installation job without restarting a workflow, allowing them to manage on-site variations in a much more streamlined way.
  • Reject the Project - If a Project isn't viable, Operators can quickly reject it from the System design task.

Improved

• We did a major redesign of the Create quote and system design workflow to provide Operators with new functionality and improved efficiency. In its place is now two Workflows, Design quote and Publish quote, which include an improved Design system task, where Operators can:

  • See instant energy generation and savings forecasts on the Design system task, to get an overview of the System performance and benefit to the Customer.
  • Create and edit the Bill of materials from the Design System task.
  • Upload a different system design image, if needed.

  For consistency, this improved Design system task is now also where Operators will do all Quote and Bill of material changes. This task, for example, replaces the:

  • Add or remove variations task in the Site inspection workflow.
  • Enter quote items task in the old System design and quote workflow.

  In addition, we augmented the Workflow with two new Tasks:

  • Prepare Quotes - If an Operator is creating multiple Quotes for a Customer, they can see all of them here, and decide whether they want to review, edit, duplicate, or void them before approving them for publishing.
  • Final Quote Review - This Task allows the Principal to approve or reject all quotes to be published to the Customer. (Note: This task replaces the Final design review task)

• We updated the Review site inspection artefacts task by adding the ability to:

  • Edit the existing Quote when selecting the Update quote variations outcome.
  • Duplicate the Quote when selecting the Re-design the site and quote outcome.

• We improved the performance and functionality of the:

  • Requote customer task in the Process customer requote request workflow.
  • Review site photos task in the Review switchboard photos workflow (now includes a new transactional email to notify the Customer that the switchboard photo review is complete).

  From these Tasks, Operators can now duplicate the current Quote or start a new Quote. We also integrated these workflows with the new Design Quote and Publish Quote workflows.

• Installers can now access the Site inspection report from the Installation job pack in the Installer app.

• We've added a new unified Class and flag manager. This app replaces the Customer class manager, Site class manager, and Contractor class manager Console apps for Admin users. Read more about the Class and flag manager
• We've added a new Energy profile manager app. With this new app, you can create and manage representative Energy profiles for use in Quote forecasts. Through the Class manager you can also select a default profile that represents the Customer class. Read more about the Energy profile manager.

• We updated the Onboard customer site task with additional DNSPs, states, and timezones. If the Customer was onboarded via the Project API, any additional Project context data is now also displayed on the Task, giving the Operator all the information that they need.
• You can also add SKU pricing for all states and territories, so that you can now quote and fulfil an order for all states and territories.

Fixed

• We fixed an issue on the Add asset task where the decommission reason field was in the wrong position.
• We fixed an issue on the Site record where the rated power was missing.

Improved

• We upgraded the Cancel job task to improve its performance and functionality.
• The Installer app no longer uses a proxy service to enable SMS and calls between Installers and Customers. As a part of these changes:
  • There is a new chat notifications tab in the Installer app with an overview of all chats on current jobs
  • Customers will no longer be able to call the Installer directly.
  • Installers will only send and receive messages directly through the Installer app rather than their native messaging app.
• We added the following new events to the VPP onboarding workflow:
  • After the Confirm asset onboarding details task we now emit a VPP Asset Details Confirmed event before we onboard the asset into a VPP service.
  • After the Confirm asset controllable task we now emit a VPP Asset Status event to confirm whether the controllable asset has been onboarded into the VPP service or rejected.
  These events are also passed through to your CRM.

• We made changes to how Site inspections and Installations are managed and scheduled:
  • We created new Contractor flags that Admins can use to set available days for Site inspections and Installations.
  • We added Saturdays and Sundays to the preferred days customers can choose from in the checkout.
  • Installers can now schedule a job on a customer’s non-preferred day, although we show a warning to discourage them if they do.
• Now, whenever a customer is created in the Platform, a corresponding CRM contact is created too.

• In the Update asset serial numbers task, duplicate serial numbers are now automatically removed and white space is trimmed from the start and end of the input.
• In tasks where Operators need to upload files, they can now delete files that they’ve uploaded accidentally.
