Configure Classes and Flags

You can create Classes and set Flags through the Class manager app.

Create a new Class

To create a new Class

1. Open Console.
2. Go to the Class manager app, and click Add class.
3. In the modal, enter the Class details.
4. Click Create.

Your new Class will appear in the Class list.

You can now configure the Flags in this class, and also assign relevant entities to this class. For example, if you created a Battery class, you can assign Batteries to it in the Hardware model manager.

View and set Flags

To view and set the Flags for a Class:

1. Open Console.
2. Go to the Class manager app, and click on a Class name to open it.
3. Use the left panel to find the relevant Flag.
4. Use the right panel to enable and set the Flag.
5. Click Apply.

Identifying enabled flags

When looking at the Flag names in the left panel, you can quickly identify ones that are enabled by the ● next to their name.

Edit a Class

To edit a Class:

1. Open Console.
2. Find the Class in the list, and click the edit icon (✐) at the end of the row.
3. In the modal, edit the Class details.
4. Click Save.
