Manage SMS templates
To help you keep your Customers updated during a Job, the UPowr Platform automatically sends SMS notifications at key points in their journey. The templates for these notifications can be edited via flags, and they can be customised using a range pre-defined variables.

SMS Variables

%CUSTOMER_FIRSTNAME% | The Customer's first name. |
%DATE% | The date of the Job, formatted as 12 December 2026. |
%INSTALLER_NAME% | The Installer's name. |
%JOB_TYPE% | The Job type. E.g. Site inspection, Installation, or Asset replacement. |
%PRODUCT_TYPE% | The product type relevant to the Job. E.g. solar and battery, solar, battery, or EV charger. |
%START_TIME% | The start time of the Job, formatted as 12:12 pm. |
%SUPPORT_EMAIL_ADDRESS% | The email address the Customer should use for support. |
%SUPPORT_PHONE_NUMBER% | The phone number the Customer should use for support. |
%WELCOME_PACK_LINK% | The Customer's link to their Welcome pack. |
