Review Quote outcome
This Task is:
- a Supplementary task
- part of the workflow created by the Publish quotes: Before publish hook, which can be deployed to your environment on request
- triggered when the Operator selects the Requires external approval outcome in the Final Quote Review task and the Quote status is set to
Awaiting external approval.
In it, you'll provide the Quote outcome based on a decision to approve or reject the Quote by an external party.
Outcomes
Quote Approved- it will automatically proceed to publishing once all other Quotes are resolved (⏱️ wait a few minutes)Quote Approved and Accepted- it will automatically trigger the Installation workflow if the Start order automatically flag is enabled and set to Yes. All other Quotes for the Project will be voided regardless of their status.Quote Rejected- it will not be published. If all Quotes in the Task are rejected, the next Task will be the Prepare quotes task. (⏱️ wait a few minutes).
Note: There may be a few minutes delay before the next task appears.
Steps
To complete this Task:
- Review the Quote outcome from the external party
- Select the appropriate outcome:
- To approve the Quote, select Quote Approved
- To approve and accept the Quote, select Quote Approved and Accepted
- To reject the Quote, select Quote Rejected
- Click Complete
