Confirm BYOB asset details

This task is:

  • a Supplementary Task.
  • triggered when a Customer and Site are onboarded onto the Platform.
  • completed by Principal Sales.

In it, you'll view the Customer, Site, and Assets Records to check the Customer and Asset details are correct, and add or update Asset information if required. You can also pass or fail the Asset.

Asset information

You can't pass this task without adding at least 1 inverter or gateway asset and 1 battery asset to the Assets table.

Next

If the outcome is passed, the Customer Acquistion File will be sent to Gentrack.

Steps

To complete this task:

  1. View the asset details in the Assets table.
  2. Click Update.
  3. If required, update the asset details in Update asset.
  4. If required, add additional assets.
  5. Click Save Asset.
  6. If required, fail the asset and select a reason for failure.
    • For example, you can do this if the customer or asset is not eligible.
    • If you do, you won't be able to progress the customer through the workflow.
  7. Click Complete.
